Unable to get fuse to run. Nothing happens after I click the icon in the dashboard. I have mono4.0.4 installed. Please Help.

So I just installed Mono then Fuse on my Mac Pro running Mountain Lion. When I click on the fuse icon nothing happens. My question is do I need to have anything else installed. I am very new to development as I only know HTML CSS and some PHP and XML. I mostly do front end stuff and am looking to dig in a bit deeper. Don’t know if I should have already had any other developer tools other than the install files and sublime. Any help would be great.

rick [6:14 PM] also running OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.5

Thanks for your time.

While we’ve tested extensively with Mavericks, Yosemite, and El Capitan, we haven’t done so much testing with Mountain Lion. We’re jumping on that ASAP, and we’ll let you know what we find. Thanks for the report!

Awesome, Thanks for all the help.

Hey, I was able to reproduce it, so let see if I can fix it!

I have done some investigating, and I am not expecting us to support Mountain Lion in the near future.

However Yosemite and El Capitan should work. Maverics should also work, but we have not tested it lately.

I hope it’s not too strict requirements for you. Do you have a particular reason for running Mountain Lion?

I’ve installed Fuse on Mavericks (10.9.5) and I can’t run it as well. The Fuse Icon appears shortly in the dock but then disappears and I get not error message.

Hey, Jonas

We have found some issues related to Maverics, we will look into it. However the command line interface should work okey on Maverics. For example fuse preview etc.
