Paragraphs

How can create a Paragraphs? When I create a Text element dont respect the width and have no Breaklines…

Hi!

This is currently not possible.

We are working on several solutions for rich text content, one method we are currently experimenting with is rendering HTML content into Fuse elements.

New releases with lots of cool features are around the corner  Stay tuned!

I don’t know if it’s relevant, but Actionscripts Text Layout Framework is open source and highly sophisticated. Maybe it can be used for inspiration, if nothing more.

Demo: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/tlf/demo/ (yeah, like anyone of you run Flash Player…)

Resources: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/tlf.html and http://sourceforge.net/adobe/tlf/home/Home/

has breaklines been solved yet.
. I really need it…Lol

You can have text which wrap around the view area by using;

for paragraphs just use new text elements.

If you are doing this programatically, then use the function and create a new text for each paragraphs.

Any news on the lse cool new features yet? It’s been 2 years since the last update.

There is still no rich text support in Fuse, if that’s what you’re asking. The suggestions to either use multiple Text elements or a WebView if you need more html-like control on text, still stand.

Hi Uldis,

Thanks for getting back; two more questions:

  1. With a webview you mean to link to a external website or is it possible to add some basic inline CSS and HTML into our JSON feed a show that within a webview?
  2. Are you still planning om integrating a more rich text features textbox in the future?
  1. You can load arbitrary HTML in a WebView, using several methods: WebView docs.

  2. Yes, there are plans on rich text support. There is no ETA on when (or if at all) that will happen.

oke thanks
