Hi!

Its very hard to understand your issue from the little info you’re providing. Could you please add some code example and steps to reproduce your issue?

When I enter design mode and click any element, it gets highlighted. I can’t see any way to edit its properties though. I’m assuming that’s the property panel OP is referring to.

I couldn’t find much info about design mode, except this thread, and the following video from 2015: https://www.facebook.com/fusetools/videos/879744735466247

Windows 10 Home, version 1703, build 15063.13

Log:

Fuse 0.36.0 (build 11838)
Build started: FullCompile
Configuring (1.3 s)
Compiling syntax tree (1.1 s)
Generating code and data (6.5 s)

Build completed in 8.94 seconds
Build ended
GL_VERSION: 4.4.0 - Build 21.20.16.4550
GL_VENDOR: Intel
GL_RENDERER: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530

That was the old Inspector panel. It was a proof of concept feature that was removed all the way back in 0.26. See the change log for more info:

So the design mode doesn’t do anything at all currently? Then I’d suggest removing it from the menu to avoid confusion.

Thanks for clarifying!

Hi Kristian, In Fuse 0.37, this has changed. You’ll now instead find a “Selection” toggle, which lets you choose between interacting with the app, and selecting elements in it.

In the near future we’ll introduce more design tools again.
