"fuse build" hangs if run in a directory which does NOT contain a fuse project

Fuse version 0.22.0 (build 6996) OS Version: OS X El Capitan

Steps:

    1. Reboot
    1. cd to a directory which does NOT contain a fuse project
    1. type “fuse build” and press enter

-hangs-

Notes:

    1. pressing at this point returns:
     fuse: Failed to start daemon: Daemon exited with code 130
    1. then running “fuse build” again returns:
    fuse: Failed to connect to daemon: Connection refused

    until you reboot or kill the Fuse daemon
