Cool, I hope we can see continuation of hikr series (part 5) that might be delayed for this release.

p.s : I just check change log section and want to see Pizza link https://github.com/fusetools/fuse-samples/tree/fuse-selection/Samples/Controls/Selection but found 404 .

Good news!

@bejita: Thanks for reporting. The link has now been updated! (to this)

Cool, I hope we can see continuation of hikr series (part 5) that might be delayed for this release.

Indeed, it will be released early next week

Where are the docs (not the changelog) for this release? I thought the docs of the new things would come with this release?

What’s missing specifically? There are no links to specific docs changes with each release, the docs are updated overall with each release yes.

As in: if there are new features, operators or functions mention in the changelog, they are now also covered in the docs. If they aren’t, there’s a mistake somewhere.

First thing I checked was the new Observable methods, I didn’t check for the rest, from that I concluded majority of new things are not documented. I was hoping fuse would release stable versions with updated docs.

Yep, we did miss some of the Observable docs on rollout, but they’re rolling out now. As for the rest of the new features, I checked most of them at least, and they’re all there

I’m doing a search on the new Selection API can’t find the docs for that :frowning: the new Shadow tag

I’m searching for the following in the current released docs and can’t find anything on them:

  • Selection API
  • Shadow Tag
  • New ScrollView features (Scrolled, WhileScrolled)
  • The With that deprecated Select
  • WhileString

The rest of the changelog are internal bug fixes or things I don’t use, but yea from the above list I searched and didn’t find anything.

Found this thread so looks like WhileScrolled is in the docs, so perhaps the Search is just not showing results? So I wouldn’t know where to find the others

Our search works fine for me? https://www.fusetools.com/search?query=whilescrolled or https://www.fusetools.com/docs/fuse/controls/shadow for example.

If you’re using the Google search, Google probably hasn’t indexed the new pages yet as they were very recently published.

Oh that makes sense, I was using the google one.

Btw I mentioned this on slack, but for some reason downloading the latest build from the site, the installer says build 7741 but when installed I get build 7683. I’m on windows 10 does this happen for any of you guys?

Where do you see 7683, is it in the tray icon or when you do fuse --version?

This does not happen when I try it on Windows 10. Can you try right-clicking the tray icon, selecting Exit, and then start Fuse again?

Running fuse --version gives me 7683

This is really strange. Can you please try to re-run the installer and see if the problem persist?

Yea I did like 3 times, that’s the whole problem, its giving me one installer but installing something else. I’ll try uninstalling it and then installing again. Right now I’m not running into any problems with my app so I’ll just wait on the next update or try that when I’m getting an error.

Can you please send me the installer? You can upload it to https://www.dropbox.com/request/ZgndLtJQm5eGzG9cicGK.

By the way, what does where fuse say?

Thanks for the upload, I’ve md5-ed it now and confirmed it is the correct one.
