E200: iOS build failed (command line tools)

I installed Fuse 1.6.1 on a MacBook Pro (end 2008) El Capitan 10.11.6. I had to install Xcode 8.2.1 because it’s the most updated version that works with OS X 10.11.6. To test the working environment I ran successfully the example Fuse app that comes with Fuse Studio, but when I tried the export it for iOS I got the following error:

-select: error: tool 'xcodebuild' requires Xcode, but active developer directory '/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools' is a command line tools instance (unknown): E0200: iOS build failed

At the first export attempt Fuse Studio asked to install Xcode Command line tools and so I did, but I keep getting the same error.

I may not install any other versions of OS X nor XCode.

Hey, perhaps this suggestion or other similar ones found on the internet will help.

Thank you. Solved with the suggestions you linked:

sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
