I’m filing an internal issue to investigate this - I’m hoping to get some time to do a pass on some outstanding forum issues earlier this week

I tested this now and this seems to work as expected when dragging gifs into the text editor. Feel free to explain a little more about what goes wrong if you’re still unable to make it work.
