I tend to be on the move a lot and I dont always have access to a computer in which I have admin access too. So having a portable version of Fuse would be fairly helpful. Sublime Text 3 comes in a portable version as well, which I use as my main text editor on all PCs straight off my flashdrive, so all im missing is a Fuse portable release. Are there any plans to make Fuse portable at any point?
We’re currently investigating making a new installer that doesn’t require root privileges and allows you to choose the installation directory. No promises of a release date or what features we eventually end up with, but we are working on it!
