How to not use slide gesture in Edgenavigator?

I would like to remove the slide gesture feature from Edgenavigator.
In other words, I want to activate the function only with button events.

I can make it new without using Edgenavigator, but I want to know if there is a way not to use gesture function.

An EdgeNavigator comes with all the gestures and convenience features you would expect from one. If you need a custom behaviour, you have to make your own.
