It would be amazing if Fuse could access the front camera and display the feed onto a UI element.
Why? I need to prototype a FaceTime like application. This is feature is what is holding me back from throwing myself into the FUSE world. This would also mean I would not have to instead invest my time in phonegap

You are absolutely right, that would be badass! We are currently revamping the current camera implementation but having a camera feed as a UI element is defintely on our roadmap after that.
Rest assured, when we have it we will be shouting about it
