I tried to Desaturate a MapView. When just adding Desaturate it doesn’t change the MapView. If adding RenderToTexture="true" then MapView doesn’t show anything, with or without Desaturate.

Due to DRM reasons, the OS does not allow rendering a MapView to a texture, so unfortunately, what you are trying to do is not possible.
