As known and as written in the Android’s development Location Strategies page, listening for location fixes can consume a lot of battery power.
A good practice is to turn on listening only when necessary. I’m using ShowMyLocation property in MapView. I would like to know the behaviour of ShowMyLocation: will it start listening only when the page is active and then stop listening when the page is deactivated or as it is called once it will keep listening ‘forever’?
