# SetUp Failed

Hi,

I got this error while installing Fuse on my windows 8 machine. Any soulution? Thanks

“One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and retry setup. For more informaiton see the log file. 0x800091007 the hash value is not correct”.

Do you have jdk on your pc? Normally fuse do all the installation for you. Sometimes you need just show path to jdk, after that fuse install all needeful components for you. At least thats how i solved similar problem with installation.

Yes, I have JDK on my machine. It doesnt prompt for any path. it exists the setup right after when it says"Processing Microsoft visual C++ 2012 redistributable (x64)" and then exits the setup.

Hi

Please try to install [VC Redist 2012](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679) manually, both the x86 and x64 version.

Issue was resolved by simply restarting the machine. But it took almost 30 minutes to complete my install setup.

What exactly took 30 minutes? Running the Fuse installer?
