# How do i make the keyboard pop up when pressed a text input

What code do i use to make the keyboard pop up on ios when i press on the text input box to enter a password or email for example.

Hi!

The keyboard should appear automatically when focus is given to a `<TextInput>`. If this is not the case, you have to provide us with a test case for further debugging/help 🙂

it still doesnt come up, this is the code 🙂
