I am using a `<ScrollView ux:Name="view" LayoutMode="PreserveVisual">` and I want to reset the position. Because it is an infinite scroll and I am removing content as I am scrolling my steps are the following:

1 clear the list

2 re-populate around the target position

3 perform a `view.seekTo(...)`

The reset works fine if the scrollview is “resting”, but if I perform the same actions when the scrollview is still scrolling it will reset to the correct position but continue scrolling up at a fixed but slow rate.

I can’t recreate the issue in a simple use case, but the issue is consistent in my app and has been for a while. It also consistently works in the desired way when the scrollview isn’t scrolling.

QUESTION: Can I programmatically force the scrollview to stop scrolling prior to performing my reset?
