# Disable word suggestions for TextInput on Android

Hello, I am currently trying to implement a TextInput that does not give suggestions. Turning of autocorrect on iOS was easy (`AutoCorrectHint="Disabled"`), but this seems to have no impact on Android. How would I go about disabling the word suggestions on Android?

Hi. I’m afraid there is no easy way to achieve what you’re after using the controls (and properties) we have.

`*Hint` in the property name hints that it is only a _suggestion_ to what the OS should do. The OS can decide what to do with it. Further, custom keyboards (such as SwiftKey) can decide things on their own too.
