# Convert Escape HTML string tags in char

Hi guys. I’m creating an app that uses Wordpress REST API. Some of them output request have a lot of Escape Html Tags(è, é…) that with js JSON parsing it can’t convert in char. There are other function for convert them in char (with foreign code)? Thanks

Also, you can try to clean your data from the WordPress [side](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39117177/wordpress-remove-un-wanted-html-tag-from-wp-rest-api-json-file).
